Dr Tadhg Crowley has worked in the practice since 1997.He trained in UCD and completed his general practice training on the mid-western scheme. After completing his general practice training he completed post graduate diplomas in paediatrics, psychiatry and in occupational medicine in London. He is a qualified commercial mediator and is a member of MII. He also has done post graduate training in concussion with UPMC in Pittsburgh over the last 2 years.

He has worked with the Kilkenny hurling team since 2001 as medical officer. His clinical areas of interest are sports medicine in the community, concussion active management, occupational health, commercial mediation.

Dr Cusack is a trainer with the South East Training Scheme.

Womens Health, Skin Conditions and GP Training .



Dr Seathrun O Casaide is a graduate of UCD, with diplomas in Child Health and Obstetrics. He has worked with the Ayrfield Primary care Team since its inception to broaden the services available to patients at Ayrfield such as Liaison mental Health Clinic and Community Testing for Coronary Prevention. 
Dr O Casaide's areas of special interest include Heart Disease Prevention and Mental Health.



Dr Chambers has worked in the practice since 2008.He was born in Newport, County Mayo. He attended St Jarlaths College, Tuam, Co. Galway. He trained in the Royal College of Surgeons and completed his general practice training on the Western scheme. His areas of interest include minor surgery, dermoscopy and Travel Medicine/vaccinations. On completing his general practice training he completed post graduate diplomas in paediatrics, Obstetrics/ Womens Health and in occupational medicine. 



He has a keen interest in providing and developing services within the primary care setting and has worked closely  with Bluebird Care, Euromedic, St John of Gods and the Womens Health Group to provide colocated primary care services in Ayrfield and the community.


He has served as secretary of the Kilkenny Faculty of the Irish College of General Practitioners for four years. 


He is currently on the board of the Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care team.

  • Training - Dr. Conall MacConmara (MICGP) is the newest member of our team, joining the practice in 2015. He graduated from medicine in UCD in 2008 and completed his higher specialist training on the Western GP Training Scheme in 2014. He has a diploma in Medicine for the Elderly and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Womens health. He has also published original research. Conall is looking forward to seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds. 

  • Special Interests: Men’s Health, Allergy Medicine, Cardiology, Child’s Health & Travel Health.



Dr Marian Walsh grduated from UCD in 2007 and completed her GP training on the South East Training Scheme in 2014.
She has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Certificate in Palliative Medicine. Dr Walsh has a special interest in Women's Health.

 Dr Joanne Cuddihy MB BCh

Dr Joanne Cuddihy graduated from UCD Medical School in 2009. She spent a few years working in emergency medicine in Australia while also competing as an athlete internationally. She returned to Ireland and completed the GP training scheme in Dublin in 2017, graduating with the Ellard Eppel Trophy from the ICGP for the highest overall mark.  She has a diploma in women’s health, musculoskeletal medicine, palliative care and medicine for the elderly. She joined Ayrfied in 2018 and has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, Women’s health and family planning.
