NURSE ANN CARPENTER RGN
Ann qualified as an RGN in Oct 2003 from the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and UCD, She then went on to attain her BSc in Nursing from UCD in Sep 2004.
Anne's special interests in Ayrfield Medical Practice include Executive and Occupation Medical Screening and also Asthma Management particularly in those children who are Under 6 years of age. This includes regular review of disease prevention and treatment of Asthma.

NURSE HELEN FOGARTY RGN
Helen qualified in 1985 having trained in the Richmond Hospital in Dublin. She worked in Australia for 3 years in Cardiology before returning to work with the Irish Heart Foundation. She worked on the Kilkenny Health Project on Cardiovascular Disease Surveillance.
Helen has spent the last 20 years in Primary Care with an interest in Women's Health and Cervical Check. She has obtained many Certificates during this time including Family Planning and Asthma Care.

NURSE SIOBHAN CARRIGAN RGN
Siobhan qualified with a Diploma in General Nursing from Waterford Institute of Tecnology in 2003. Following that she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004. After a year away working as a nurse in Australia she came home and obtained a Higher Diploma in Practice Nursing from The Royal College of Surgeons in 2007.
Siobhan has a keen interest in sexual health and together with the Gp's runs a sexual health clinic in Ayrfield one day per week.

NURSE LISA KILL RGN
Trained in London Lisa has 15yrs practice nurse experience.Keen interests include cervical screening,travel health medicine,childhood immunisations and tissue viability.

NURSE PAULA MCGRATH RGN, BSC
Paula qualified as a general nurse from Imperial College London in 1997. After working in Australia for a year she returned to complete a BSc in Cardiology.
She worked as a cardiac prevention nurse in London and has a specialist interest in health promotion. She has been working as a practice nurse since 2014.

Bernadette qualified in 1997 as a Registered General Nurse in Beaumont Hospital Dublin.
She worked as a staff nurse on a general medical ward and later staffed in the Coronary Care Units of Beaumont Hospital and the Adelaide-Meath Hospitals ,Dublin.
In 2000 she went on to attain a Higher Diploma in Midwifery at University College Cork.
she has worked the past seventeen years as a midwife in The Maternity Unit of St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny
She joined the Ayrfield team in October 2018. She is mainly based at the clinic in Gortnahoe .Her special interests are women's and infant health.
NURSE BERNADETTE SAUNDERSON (RGN/RM HDip Midwifery)
REGISTERED NURSE PRESCRIBER
Nurse Triona Moore commenced as a nurse prescriber in February 2017.
This means she sees patients, examines them and prescribse medicines.
Her areas of interest are Minor illness and injuries.
This means you may not need to see a Doctor directly.
She is the first nurse in Co. Kilkenny to have a licence to prescribe in General Practice.
NURSE TRIONA MOORE DIP IN NURSING (ADULT) ENP, RNP.
Triona Moore Dip in Nursing (Adult) ENP, RNP. Triona began working in Ayrfield Medical Practice in 2014. Since then she has completed a course in Nurse Prescribing and undertaken a Minor Illness Course. Triona's main areas of interest are urgent care including minor injuries and illness.
Prior to that Triona worked in a number of Emergency Departments since 1996. In 2013 she specialised as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in Northern Ireland (ENP) specializing in Minor injuries.
